I have been working as a conference interpreter – simultaneous, consecutive and whispering – since 2003 at conferences, institutional meetings, medical congresses, workshops, seminars, international meetings, meetings of boards of directors, business events and training courses in Italy and abroad, with a total of more than 1500 interpreting days. I am a member of the Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conférence” (AIIC World), a global association that, with its 3,000 members, has over the past sixty years been involved in promoting high standards of quality and professional integrity as well as being the partner of reference for European and international bodies.
My mother tongue is Italian and I provide interpreting services from and into English and German.
I translate mainly for the medical, financial, legal and automotive sectors, for fashion and publishing.
I have been collaborating since 2003 with PCO (Professional Congress Organizer), numerous interpreting and translating agencies, trade fair organizations, universities, publishers, television and radio companies, as well as small and large businesses in Italy and abroad, particularly n Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
I have a keen interest in new technologies for conference interpreters and translators.

After taking my school leaving certificate with specialization in languages with final mark 60/60, I attended the Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori in Forlì, SSIT, University of Bologna. The university course included intensive summer periods spent aboard aimed at training as a simultaneous interpreter with Cambridge Professional Linguists, in Cambridge, United Kingdom and the Munich Language and Interpretation Institute Sprachen- und Dolmetscher Institut in Munich, Germany. Thanks to the Erasmus programme I also had the opportunity to spend the entire fourth academic year at FASK in Germersheim, the Faculty for Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies of Mainz University, in Germany, where I took numerous examinations in simultaneous interpreting also in the language combination German-English-German.
I took my degree in conference interpreting at the SSIT in Forlì in 2003 with a thesis entitled “Job Words – multimedia course on automotive engineering in English, Italian and German for Ferrari SpA: Methodology, terminology and didactics” “Le parole del nostro lavoro – glossario e corso multimediale di meccanica automobilistica in lingua inglese e tedesca per Ferrari SpA” with final mark 110/110 cum laude and was awarded respectively the Premio Feder.Cen.Tr.I in 2003 in Bologna and the Prix international de terminologie presented by the Chairperson of the Jury of the European Association for Terminology (EAT), Maria Teresa Cabré, at the II Terminology Summit held in Barcelona on 26-27/11/2004.
During my first five working years I carried out further studies with the Advanced Course on Legal Translation at the University of Genoa, the Centre for permanent training and the Advanced Course for Translators and Interpreters in Economy and Finance organized by CTI – Communication Trend Italia – with the aid of lecturers from Bocconi University in Milan. From 2004 onward I also attended numerous training courses in the use of tools for assisted translation (CAT) such as Trados Freelance and SDL-Trados Studio 2009, 2011, 2014, Star-Transit NXT and Atril-DéjaVu X.
As continuous training for conference interpreters, I have constantly taken part in numerous refresher courses, including the Cambridge Conference Interpretation Course (CCIC) and the Course for conference interpreters with English as B language held by the University of Westminster. I regularly take part in Workshops on Contemporary Italian, German and English Pronunciation.
